Our Spill Prevention Plans are continually reviewed and updated to ensure compliance with the latest federal regulations and E.P.A. interpretations. Getting started with your SPCC plans is an easy process. All it takes is completing two one page forms. Once the completed forms are received one of our trained agents will schedule a visit to the facility. In most cases it is not necessary that our agents be accompanied during the visit.

SPCC Inspections
Federal law requires a SPCC Inspection to be completed annually for each facility. Our inspection form covers key EPA and OSHA regulations plus low berm height measurements to assess the operator with complying with berm calculations.

TIER II REPORTS
Annually operators are required to submit Hazardous Chemical inventories to their designated state authority. The national deadline for this submission every year is March 1st. These submissions are commonly called Tier II or Sara Title III Filings. No engineer is required to file Tier II reports and operators are free to file on their own. For operators who desire assistance with their filings McCown Contracting will prepare and submit reports for Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas. Tier II reports are not a part of SPCC law or a requirement of an SPCC plan. Tier II reporting is a standalone service.
SPCC PUMPER TRAINING
Federal law requires all oil handling personal to undergo annual SPCC training. McCown Contracting has conducted training seminars the three states for multiple clients.
